Recently we've had the "Birther" movement, the "mob rule" healthcare town meetings, and now a guy from Staunton, Virginia has seen fit to film an assassination movie which focuses on the Obama campaign.
The film features four, "down on their luck" individuals that plot to kill Barack Obama during his campaign for POTUS. Scenes were shot locally, including one in front of the high school my mother graduated from as a teenager.
To the local television website, WSLS.com, Townsend says he isn’t making the movie just to get attention. “It’s not something I set out to make out of shock value or anything like that,“ he said. “There is a legitimate storyline in this.“
What do you think?

I am heading out to a party, but had to share this with OS.
How does tacky sound?
Spud, agreed. I only heard it because it was on local news there and someone from home linked me. Unbelievable.
I hope the secret service are all over this, freedom of speech and all.
hello - yelling "fire" in a theater? what is wrong with people?!
I get sick of America, sometimes.
What a horrible commentary on our world---that this piece of filth even exists. No matter what the reason.
I am not surprised that this film is being made, but I am concerned that as it was stated in the text of the video… “it could be a model” for someone to follow this storyline and attempt a real assassination on our President.
Mother thanks for sharing this story with us…

I hate to say it, but these sort of things hold a curiosity for me because I'm one of those who really want to know how the other side thinks. Knowing the way your enemy thinks can often show the way to defeat them.
I agree with everyone who pointed out the writer's comment about "a model". WTF ...
so I ask again, what the hell is happening to my country that some Americans are coming to believe being violent and behaving like lunatics is perfectly American?
