A Hint of Gold

Although the glorious exlosion of colors is still a few weeks away, the woods near my home are already showing signs of the new season.

Although the trees are still mostly green, the tulip poplars are slowly starting to change .

gold light 

Some of the smaller bushes are already decked out in gold.

Pretty soon this little wren will blend right in.

Almost sneezed when I saw the goldenrod. All of these are lovely, especially the little wren.

Lovely way to begin today. Saw a wren just as dusk fell last night. Lovely these.
