I'm hoping to find out what they are, and soon.

I have a novel and a book of shorts which I am considering self-publishing on Kindle/Amazon.

I put up one of my shorts to test the waters, so to speak. Will I be able to exchange 3,000 words for a buck seventy-five? Stay tuned.

Will do. It's hard to get people to pay for a short story. I understand that. But given the kind of books you usually get for a buck, a short story might be a blessing.
