I have a problem with sleep. Maybe if I say good night I can stop this part of my lack of sleep indicators.
Sleep Poem
Good night angels of despair and sufferers.
Good night to the boys of summer.
Good night to the ache in the corner of a sentence
or the corner itself.
Good night.
There's nothing left but dreams for me.
I will see you there in full flesh and costume
Better and worse than you might be.
I'll adjust your hats and crowns and tell you
how much you matter.
I'll draw water from the well
and wine from the basement and serve you.
This crazy moon is following me.
Who's guilty, exactly? Me or the moon.
I'll take the blame, stub out the cigarette,
accept the light and all that means. And then
move on into reflected light.

That could be a description of dreaming or of waking; sometimes the two are impossible to tell apart.
Now serve yourself some wine and then relax and then take 3 long, deep breaths -
that's right
Now, hypnotize yourself like this:
peace, serenity and love (repeat). Visualize your favourite childhood memories....
Then, ingest a full circuit of ativan....
nighty nights
I have a lot of problems sleeping as well, which stems from the fact that I think it's a waste of time.
OK, i have to ask since it's been bothering me although to most it's probably quite obvious. Is that you behind a tombstone with devil horns on?
For most people, that would drive them crazy, but not me, I have my imaginary animals to talk to!! :)

Good night!!
Nanatehay: You neded some rest the other night, and I hope you have the most peaceful and lovely long weekends (if indeed this is a long weekend for you).
Total moon thing Karin Rego - it's waxing tonight, I guess. I love it but also feel a little to close to lunacy" at times...and the wine just makes me more full of moon. lorazepam can do the trick for sleep!
Manchu Wok: In my wild days I was wont to say: "Sleep is for weaklings." (And yes indeed that's me peeking out from behind Emily Dickinson's grave. On Halloween, two years ago.) Thanks for the compliment!
Tinkertink69: I've had some similar crazy schedules, and they definitely twist the brain. But what would OS be without you to fill in those pregnant pauses, those bitter moments when all fingers are poised to type out v-i-t-r-i-o-l. I'm glad you liked the poem. I truly appreciate that.
Theodora - It's lovely to have you comment - and that's a big compliment coming from you.
Cy: Thanks! Some it is about...well, enough said. The night is sometimes a blessing. Sleep is sometimes scary - because you're afraid to lose a moment.
I'm just too old to go without sleep because "cranky pants" has been added to descriptive terms directed at me.
At HomePilgrim: Thanks! It was...eventually restful. And the next day on limited sleep was tolerable! Miracle of miracles.
John Blumenthal: A sybiotic relationship! You crack me up and I lull you to sleep. This is the best OS relationship EVER!
Thanks jonmagee and Steve Blevins.
Sorry I didn't respond sooner - I was sleeping! - and that this is sort of lengthy, but I adore that you each chose to read and comment on this little bit of moon and light feeling.
Thanks.
