The Ice Machine...by Michael

Rate: 0 Flag
The hotel resort had an upper level where rooms were also rented. It was above the swimming pool where William exited his room with his swimming trunks on and a nice size glass of his favorite mixed drink. In the middle of the walkway on the way to the stairs leading down was the ice machine. About the same time Beverly exited her room with a nice size glass of her favorite mixed drink and in her lovely swimsuit. He was distracted by the attractive young lady as his hand wasn't really in the right position to catch the ice. She watched him look at her as the ice fell all over the cement path as it missed his glass completely. She laughed out loud and said to him "maybe you should try that again". He looked down and then at his glass and also started laughing out loud. "You broke my concentration", he said with a silly smile on his face. The event was pretty much a compliment to her as she asked him to join her at the outdoor pool below. They descended the stairs and found a table to sit at together. After their favorite drink was finished, they decided not to go back up for more ice, but instead order from the outdoor bar which already had the ice there. It was weird that they lived in the same borough and only about two miles apart from each other. Because of that particular convenience and the fact that the next four days they spent together enjoying each others company, each decided to meet again once this vacation was over. It was two summers later where the big event happened. William and Beverly came out of their room from an upper level of a place they been to before. The wedding guests waited just downstairs by the outdoor pool for the bride and groom to show up. He was distracted by his beautiful bride as ice fell from the machine as his hand wasn't in the right position. She laughed out loud as so did he at a fond memory of how they first met. Eventually both nice size glasses were filled up once again. Case in point where two strangers meet at the ice machine...
