It was a simple act of kindness and consideration for another. Maybe a bit unusual but still helpful that would somehow continue into the future. Let us start at the beginning where all this began......The year was 1977 and the location was a night club in Brooklyn, New York. Harold walked down one flight of stairs to where both the men's and ladies rooms were located. There were at least six or seven young ladies waiting on a line to get into where they needed to go. The last one on the line looked like she was going burst as she squirmed and crossed her knees. He quickly checked the men's room and then went back outside. "I will watch the door and not let anybody in until you are done" he said to the stranger. Harriet smiled and said "thank you, I won't be long" as she raced into the men's room. She came back out in about three minutes and said "looks like you just saved my bladder". They both laughed out loud and then she thanked him with a hug and a kiss on his cheek. Years passed as it was now 1983. He decided to revisit a place he used to go to just for old times sake. He went down the familiar flight of stairs and was surprised to see a line waiting to get into the men's room. A lady noticed the man who looked like he was about to burst as he squirmed and crossed his knees. "I will watch the door and not let anybody in until you are done" a familiar face said to him. He came out about three minutes later and said "looks like you just saved my bladder". Harriet and Harold laughed out loud once again as he thanked her with a hug and this time a kiss on the lips. The bride groom walked down a flight of stairs to where the bathrooms were located the following year. No lines were seen for either bathroom as they had plenty of time to hug and kiss before going up back the stairs. It was a simple act of kindness......
