I think:
maybe i have never loved more than this...
Kitten's nose in my neck,
my nose in his.
Breathing him in.
Dusty cotton smell
and rabbit fur soft.
Maybe i have never loved more than this,
but I don't want the dog to hear
or all the other cats who have passed
to hear me utter these words.
I have learned to type with one hand,
though not all that well.
I think:
who is this little cat?
This kitten...
who loves me so...
I almost hated Randy
because he hated cats.
I have always been distrusful of that type.
But then i forgave him.
How ironic would it be,
Randy,
if you came back as this cat.

Every notion warranted. God job.
Rated.
its nice, isnt it?
affection must never know of your love for this creature
with whom you have shared breath...
oh well, but what if they did? would they understand?
aren't they satisfied with the limited
(from your viewpoint,
not theirs) love? Of course they are. They are not
overly insistent. It is your imagination that they are.
Some creatures need less love to get by.
Some creatures need more love than you will ever
be able to fathom giving.
some will reach the happy medium i guess.
You are the human, not them.
It is your judgment.
(Remember: only a select few creatures are capable
of ... loving back to you..)
nose to nose, breathing him in...
(the others, those whom i also love,
cannot know of this...)
the lover of your breath
asks nothing of you, no demands that
you love another less than you love him...
he is most satisfied forever with your breath.
the sharing of your breath...
