National Media bias is impacted by the lobbiest.

Proof.

Harry Reid is not hated here. He is loved.

 The ratings they keep posting and using come from a Republican (very strongly out to defeat Reid) newspaper paid for survey.

National deep pocket (non-disclosed source money) interests are outspending Reid by 9 to one with strong attack ads. FOX news is watched here as well. This attack has been ongoing to over a year.

Do they mention that president Reagans advisor and a man he gave an ambassador position to, the Republican mayor of Reno, both Republican former First Ladies, the top Republican in the legislature and many leading Republicans in Nevada have endorsed Reid? There is a reason.

 Do they mention that like Obama he is a moderate and considered conservative within his own party?

 Do the mention that Reid is Mormon with many conservative Mormon social beliefs?

 Do they mention how we love him for blocking the Yucca Mountain Dump, helping to find finances at the height of the depression to keep City Center from becoming a steel graveyard (resulting in many many jobs saved and created), that he has brought clean energy to this state, that he has brought jobs in many forms and large numbers?

While the attacks use the same language as attack ads against other Democrats in totally unrelated races in states on the opposite side of the state.

 Do they mention that the political parties are as evenly divided in the state as the polls? And that many thousands of voters were not even in the state or voting six years ago when Reid won a narrow party line reelection? 

 I think the goal is less to get votes for Sharon Angle than the national hatred for Reid by the large energy companies (over Yucca Mountain), the insurance and large corporate medical monsters over a misrepresented health care plan (I have a pre-existing condition and will take personally any attempt to undo the congress's health care - it was not Obama's preference that was passed so it is not Obamacare). 

And the reality that he is the majority leader and does the job.

Nevadans know that we would go from that power and influence for our small and underfunded state (we do not have the population to qualify for matching funds or many federal programs) to a "fringe" senator ranked at the bottom of the barrell if Reid loses.

National Media is playing into the hands of the big bucks lined up to defeat Reid.

 Again high profile Republicans endorse him. Democrats know him. He is from tiny Searchlight, did make his money as a self made man before he ever entered the Senate and is a decent moral man. I am not Mormon but I understand their ethics and positions. Harry Reid is ethical and honest, and doing his job for his president, his country and his state.

The big bucks want to do all they can to end that for their own greedy profits at the expense of honest government and the truth.
