I am in my 17th year of service on the National Board of Directors of the Screen Actors Guild. What sort of duck?

Why a duck?

The issue of Gay Marriage is one of which way you look at the duck.

Is it a religious duck?

Or is it a civil rights duck?

Is it about imposing moral imperatives?

Or is it about protecting individual freedoms?

Is it about judgement?

Or is it about our right to not have our private beliefs and practices judged?

Is anyone listening to the other's side?

Or is it all a jumble of religious and political platitudes (or platypus's)?

So in the words of the immortal Marx Brothers:
