About Breaking Bad
The stakes get even higher in the third season of AMC's Breaking Bad, which the Los Angeles Times calls "the best show on television." Bryan Cranston - winner of back-to-back Emmys® for Outstanding Lead Actor - shatters suburban stereotypes in his "brilliant" (The Hollywood Reporter) performance as chemistry teacher turned drug kingpin Walt White. As danger and suspicion around him escalate, Walt continues to straddle two conflicting worlds: a ruthless swirl of drugs, murder and mayhem on one hand, and a complex and emotionally fraught domestic life on the other. Unstable, volatile and dangerous, Breaking Bad shows just "how thrilling TV can be when it lives on the edge" (TV Guide). From the network that brought you the critically-acclaimed pop culture phenomenon Mad Men, the new season of Breaking Bad ignites March 21, only on AMC.

NEW: Who do you nominate for This Week in Bad?

Rate: 2 Flag

Remember when Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift at the MTV awards? How about when Sarah Palin claimed she could see Russia from her house? We may always have known they were eccentric or dim, but in those moments, they broke bad -- they crossed a line, passed the point of no return and perhaps qualified themselves for Salon's "This Week in Crazy."

Now, we're wondering: Who do you think "broke bad" this week, in the realms of politics or culture?

Blog your response by Thursday, March 18 at 5pm ET and tag it amc_crazy. The best posts will appear on the cover of Open Salon.
