That's just disgusting.
Scrape that radioactive yellow stuff off and I'd probably eat it.
And the Brussels Sprouts actually don't look overcooked!
Heh. I'm not crazy about fish to begin with and that? Oh my. And what is with the thing looking like it is ralphing up parsley? Yes, that's an attractive presentation. Not.
I love salmon and this almost turns me off salmon.
Everyone is invited to my house for supper!
check out the Gallery of Regrettable Foods online. More vintage cookbook craziness! They even have the old MEAT cookbook my mom still has in her library.
(In my best Stewie voice from Family Guy) Oh Gawd, is that a Bernaise slathered on top or is that poor sea creature being devoured by Lois's rampant yeast infection?
Oh my word. That is horrid. That is nasty. That is..what IS that? I mean, really? Why does it look like that? There can be no good reason.
Ha! that is hilariously gross!

btw, terrific banner up there

I think I'm the only person in Seattle who doesn't like cooked salmon, encounters with stuff like the above photo as a child are the reason why. Happily, nobody does that to sashimi.
Thanks for the comments, all. Bagheera, I've been a fan of that blog for some time. It's a hoot.
