Psalm 46
It's Spring, Let us rejoice in birthing anew!
See, the former things have come to pass,
and the new things I now declare;
before they spring forth,
I tell you of them.
The Lord cries out as a
woman in labor,
birthing new things!
Push with Him,
Push toward the new day!
Cry out and proclaim the
Light of His Glory!1
What eye has seen,
nor ear heard,
nor the human heart conceived,
what God has prepared for
those who love Him.
We do not know this
by the world;
not by human wisdom,
but wisdom taught by the Spirit.2
Let the foolish believe this is mere imagination,
they will never know the God's gifts.
Why not take a chance?
what is the harm in believing in something good?
Afraid you will be disappointed?
Well it won't be any worse
than where you are now
to take a chance and believe!
When God has rid the oppressors,
He establishes His throne as in the
tent(tabernacle) of David.3
But when Christ came as a high priest
of the good things that have come
then through the greater
and perfect tent( that is Him)
He entered once and for all into the Holy Place,
to purify our conscience of dead works,
and worship the living God!4
For Christ is the image of the invisible God,
in Him all things in heaven and on earth were created
for God was pleased to dwell and
reconcile to himself all things
whether on earth or in heaven.5
How do we make ourselves ready
to allow Christ to cleanse us
of the old to make way for the new?
By a broken spirit and contrite heart.6
What does that mean?
That we would have no passion?
That we would be bridled as a horse who is broken?
No, think of it as spring cleaning.
Determine to allow God to cleanse your
soul and spirit of old patterns and habits
that are not for your good.
Our God wants only our good
and for us to reach our highest potential.
Humble yourself and admit
you may not know all that you are capable of.
Say, Yes! I want to be all I can be!
I want to soar in the spirit
bloom like a flower and sing like a spring bird!
Remember the day you came
out of slavery, says Moses.
Eat unleavened bread and tell your child
what the lord did for you.7
In other words pass it on to your children!
Come together in unison and
eat drink and be merry!
For the joy of the Lord is our strength!8
You, who were once estranged,
come back to Him!
Reconcile yourself to him
that will give birth to a new creation in you!
Oh Joy Oh Joy, spring is here
and with that new life!
1 Isaiah 42:8 I am the Lord, that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to idols. 9 See, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth, I tell you of them. 10 Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the end of the earth! Let the sea roar and all that fills it, the coastlands and their inhabitants. 11 Let the desert and its towns lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar inhabits; let the inhabitants of Sela sing for joy, let them shout from the tops of the mountains. 12 Let them give glory to the Lord, and declare his praise in the coastlands. 13 The Lord goes forth like a soldier, like a warrior he stirs up his fury; he cries out, he shouts aloud, he shows himself mighty against his foes. 14 For a long time I have held my peace, I have kept still and restrained myself; now I will cry out like a woman in labor, I will gasp and pant. 15 I will lay waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbage; I will turn the rivers into islands, and dry up the pools. 16 I will lead the blind by a road they do not know, by paths they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I will do, and I will not forsake them.
2 1 Corinthians 2:9 But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him"— 10 these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. 11 For what human being knows what is truly human except the human spirit that is within? So also no one comprehends what is truly God's except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is from God, so that we may understand the gifts bestowed on us by God. 13 And we speak of these things in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual things to those who are spiritual. 14 Those who are unspiritual do not receive the gifts of God's Spirit, for they are foolishness to them, and they are unable to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 15 Those who are spiritual discern all things, and they are themselves subject to no one else's scrutiny. 16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.
3 Isaiah 16:5 then a throne shall be established in steadfast love in the tent of David, and on it shall sit in faithfulness a ruler who seeks justice and is swift to do what is right.
4 Hebrews 9: 11 But when Christ came as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation), 12 he entered once for all into the Holy Place, not with the blood of goats and calves, but with his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of goats and bulls, with the sprinkling of the ashes of a heifer, sanctifies those who have been defiled so that their flesh is purified, 14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to worship the living God! 15 For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, because a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions under the first covenant.
5 Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 for in him all things in heaven and on earth were created, things visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or powers—all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He himself is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might come to have first place in everything. 19 For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, 20 and through him God was pleased to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, by making peace through the blood of his cross. 21 And you who were once estranged and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, 22 he has now reconciled in his fleshly body through death, so as to present you holy and blameless and irreproachable before him— 23 provided that you continue securely established and steadfast in the faith, without shifting from the hope promised by the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven.
6 Psalm 51:16 For you have no delight in sacrifice; if I were to give a burnt offering, you would not be pleased. 17 The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
7 Exodus 13:1 The Lord said to Moses: 2 Consecrate to me all the firstborn; whatever is the first to open the womb among the Israelites, of human beings and animals, is mine. 3 Moses said to the people, "Remember this day on which you came out of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, because the Lord brought you out from there by strength of hand; no leavened bread shall be eaten. 4 Today, in the month of Abib, you are going out. 5 When the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he swore to your ancestors to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, you shall keep this observance in this month. 6 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a festival to the Lord. 7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten for seven days; no leavened bread shall be seen in your possession, and no leaven shall be seen among you in all your territory. 8 You shall tell your child on that day, "It is because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.' 9 It shall serve for you as a sign on your hand and as a reminder on your forehead, so that the teaching of the Lord may be on your lips; for with a strong hand the Lord brought you out of Egypt.
8 Nehiamiah 8:9 And Nehemiah, who was the governor, and Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, "This day is holy to the Lord your God; do not mourn or weep." For all the people wept when they heard the words of the law. 10 Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions of them to those for whom nothing is prepared, for this day is holy to our Lord; and do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." 11 So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, "Be quiet, for this day is holy; do not be grieved." 12 And all the people went their way to eat and drink and to send portions and to make great rejoicing, because they had understood the words that were declared to them.

Bleue: Yes it is. I don't seem to tire of saying it either.
As well are the words and meaningful display of love and faith.
