
I have been on extended stay at my parents for a number of reasons, not the least of which to help them out. My Mother has been undergoing cancer treatment for several years. wtith my father being the caregiver,and a bit worn out himself, they could use another hand. It has been wonderful to see my Father’s devotion and doting on my Mother, his bride for 54 years.
Not too long ago my mother was extremely productive and creative making art dolls. I would like to share some of them with you. These characters are all around the house.


These are the ones she has left. She has made some dolls that are quite elaborate; a dragon, an elephant with a hidden box, the camel above is Hoshmakaka after a children's Christmas story, toothfairies (for my brother's office who is a dentist), elves and gnomes and all kinds of imaginative creatures. And there's my mother's alter egos as in this punk rocker and opera singer:
