- I am a social worker, by profession & passion and a writer by heart. I have an appreciation for and love of the Gulf coast of Florida, gardening, rat terriers and other strays as well as other things that matter - fighting injustice, advocating for the have-nots and down-trodden and joining in political efforts to right-this-ship we call home. In spite of these commitments, I am very much attuned to life around me, the beauty that makes one catch their breath and following a path home that keeps my soul safe, sound and renewed.
