Amid the horror and wreckage of the Japanese tsunami and earthquake that has killed thousands, there are other living beings that need our help. I don't know how many -- but I'm sure there are thousands and thousands of animals that have been left homeless and abandoned in the wake of this unprecedented disaster. WorldVets. which provides disaster relief and healthcare to animals around the world has begun to address the problem.
They currently have two people in Japan – a Dr. Koji Fukomura, who is in Tokyo and Adrien Zap in Niigata. World Vets says they are currentlycoordinating supplies with local animal welfare groups in Japan, where understandably, because of the tragic conditions, people are unable to care for their animals. If you can give – I think a small donation might help in allowing this wonderful organization to do their work.
