Amazing Sand Animation - Ukraine's got Talent

Rate: 14 Flag

I can't sleep so I am trolling reddit and found this amazing video.  I once saw  Tibetan monks do a mandala at a university performance but this is so much more and so different

"Kseniya Simonova is a Ukrainian artist who just won the "Ukraine's Got Talent" competition. She uses a giant light box, dramatic music, imagination and "sand painting" skills to interpret the invasion and occupation of her country from 1941-1945. "

BBE, to think that I really did not like reddit b/c of the layout and interface and now it is my number one time waster.

Thanks all for commenting. I do not understand how someone can make such amazing art with sand, it is not even colored sand!
I am blown away by how talent does 'out' no matter the medium. Humans have to express themselves
Hey, I've got sand on my blog, too!

This is terrific, Ariana. Thanks for sharing.
That woman is seriously talented, and the music was perfect.
She is marvelous, isn't she?

My wife found that video on Youtube through another site and showed it to me Saturday morning. I was rushed, so after watching it I simply generated a fast post as I thought Kseniya's talent was just breathtaking. I never thought to check and see if anyone else had already discovered it.

My apologies for duplicating what you'd already done here. I thought she was simply awe-inspiring and simply amazing.

"That is very gracious of you! but not necessary.

I am not the kind of person who would be upset over something like doubleposting a youtube video!!

I just want people to see her, she is inspirational and talented and I have never seen anything like it.

I am glad you got more people to see her
