It is possible that one may become 'reborn' into this world-randomly.  Therefore prudent souls should do what they can to secure a better world in even the remote chance they become born into another tumultous region, which presently may be in a state of great disarray and turmoil, but barely passes as an afterthought...save for the random CNN, or Yahoo news story.  

With such a 'karmic' belief as 'transmigration of soul' or 'rebirth',  it is not possible to ignore what's happening over 'there', just because it's not currently happening 'here'.   A wise soul should prepare for what may come.

 For example, if you are fearful of being born into a radical Islamic political system, such as what is acted out upon in state's such as Saudi Arabia and Taliban controlled Afghanistan/Pakistan, because it includes the possibility a 'transgressor' may become beheaded for 'sorcery', 'witchcraft', infidelity, homosexuality, or just because someone high up on the ladder doesn't like you, or your 'libertine' ways...it would be prudent to try and establish cultural practices now, before your death and eventual rebirth, which do not practice such heinous barbaric atrocities.  Regime change would no longer be something to benefit just the existing populations of Saudi's, Afghanis or Pakistanis, but may one day in the future benefit you.

 The 'accident' of birth is unpredictable, like rolling the dice and assigning a number to each region or nation, one does not know where one may become reborn next.  You are born an American or Britain now, but in the future you may become born a Tibetan, a Nepalese, an Afghani, a Chechynan, A Saudi Arabian, an Iranian, a Pakistani.  Since the possibility exists that you could become born anywhere...you should concern yourself with the conditions in every region now, not later, when you are born into the geo-political region, literally as 'helpless-as-a-baby'.

If the Saudis execute people by beheading for drug offenses, for cursing Islam, for committing adultery, for practicing 'sorcery', and you find that intolerable and unacceptable...then you should lobby for and work for eliminating those practices, and religious/political/legal decrees and statutes, even if this means going to War against them in pre-emptive strike.  

Remember, you are not doing this just for the current band of citizens, but for the future ones as well.  Righting the conditions on earth universally, and across-the-board, should be the paramount mission.  The United Nations should be the body to initiate such an endeavor, but unfortunately, the body is comprised of rogue and unacceptable nations, who cannot be trusted to protect the future posterity's interest.  It must be us in America, to be charged with such a noble task.  We have one chance as a 'superpower' to get this right.  We should use it. 

Our future depends on it.
