This is a picture that Bill drew on my back that I had him photograph and then one night in boredom decided to play around with in PSP.  Art? Don't know. But I think it turned out kind of cool, all the same.

I want to get Photoshop. I have been using Picasa, which is a free online photo editting tool on Google. Not sure exactly what features would be gained from Photoshop, but it looks like quite a bit. What level do you think would be appropriate -- or what do you have to get such effects? Thanks!

Somewhere I've got a picture of the whole thing, but I can't find it anywhere. That's the problem with having 6 computers...stuff gets saved all over the place.

Lisa, you might want to try Corel's Paint Shop Pro Photo X2. It has a much lower learning curve than Photoshop and will get you comfortable with many of the same tools and effects. Plus it is much less expensive. You can download a fully functional 30 day trial from Corel's website.
