This post simply gathers links to all the posts in my Spain series.
The first in the series describes how our intrepid adventurers coped with adversity physical, mental, and professional to actually get off to Spain and then, at the brink of collapse, realized in Segovia that they were going to have a good time.
In the second post, your humble writer recalls getting stuffed several times.
In number three, our travelers find themselves on the verge of a mechanical disaster until Victor, like some wonderful deus de machina, saves the day.
Numero quatro recounts the pilgrimage to the cathedral at Santiago de Compostela.
In number five, we pause to meditate on some natural beauty on Spain's northwest coast.
Installment six sees our travelers leaving Galicia for two cities on Spain's central Meseta, Leon and Burgos.
The seventh post carries us to another former capital of Old Castile, Toledo, in which we first encounter the glories of the mudejar style and hear (twice) about the artistry of El Greco.
Number eight brings us to the hot plain of Extremadura, where we meet up with some old Romans in Merida.
Numero nueve relates our adventures in Sevilla, one of the famous cities of southern Spain.
In the tenth post, we reflect on the many treasures found in Madrid's chief art museu, the Prado.
Number eleven, in which our heroes putter around Madrid to see whatever isn't found in the Prado.
The twelfth entry reflects on the bullfight as an emblem of the Spanish spirit and play-by-plays a corrida that we witnessed.
Our tour begins to wind down with this entry, which shows and describes the delights of Cordoba, especially its Mezquita.
The fourteenth, and penultimate, entry quickly dashes through a few Granada sites before trying to capture the magnificence of the Alhambra.
The circle comes to a close with post fifteen, when we have a nighttime revelation in Salamanca that complements the daylight epiphany experienced in Segovia in the first.
Hasta luego.
