Bio
"Nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita," I find myself still asking some of the same questions I did when I was just a punk kid. The Big Things confuse me. Fortunately, though, many little things delight and amuse me, and some Big Things--my wife, our kids, our bird and bunny visitors, food, baseball--make me very, very happy. In my pilgrimage, I try to be guided by the wisdom of dear old Auntie Mame: "Life is a banquet!"

Nothing like a sunset. Beautiful pictures!
Right place, right time, right nice shots. :-D

Thanks for sharing. Beautiful.
dbd: Sunsets are breathtaking, aren't they?

Bill: As I said, just lucky--and proof that one should always listen to one's wife! "I'm busy!" I said. "No, you want to see this," she said. "And bring your camera!"
Tremendous pics - what an amazing moment!
Very good pictures. Love the look of it through the trees, the beautiful colors. Sunsets are as amazing as sunrises!
Day is gone, gone the sun!

Looks like a nice way to see the end of your day. Thanks for letting us enjoy it with you.
Owl: Yeah, amazing is right.

Just Pamela: When I reviewed the shots after taking them, I was so glad that the last two showed the details of the trees. I had been hoping!

gmg: You're most welcome!
AtHomePilgrim, that's a lovely shot of the sun setting! The color of the sky reminds me of the sunset scene from the original '77 Star Wars movie during the scene when Luke contemplates his future.
designanator: I can hear the music now!
Great shots... sunsets are cool no matter where you are.
beautiful! thank you. a taste of serenity in difficult times.
Deborah: Yes, witnessing nature at its most beautiful does give us serenity, doesn't it?
