Recently I went with my mother to the vet to take our 12 yr old soft coated wheaton terrior( Irish Farm Dog) to be put to sleep. He was a great dog .Sweet ,loyal, lovable and so on..When you have such an affection for animals you come to realize what true companions they really are..They do not judge you,They may not understand what you are saying , but they will always listen and when you are feeling blue will sidle up to you to let you know they are there for you.When you come home they are O so happy to see you as if it has been yrs since they last saw you.if you scold them , they do not hold it against you, but feel like they have disappointed you but when you look into their eyes , how can you stay angry at them..When all is forgiven they feel ever so happy you are not angry at them any more..Now that is what I call a true companion
