Three months before the car accident, we were living in Illinois. Ron was attending 'A' school for a career in fire safety with the Navy. Since I had two children at that time, I wanted to stay home rather than teach. I became a childcare provider and took care of several children. I have to admit it was rather enjoyable. I developed a schedule that worked for me, while providing suitable playtime for my children. Andrew had a boy his age to play with, while Lisa had two girls. It worked out very nicely. The parents were happy with the arrangements and so was I.
One day while the children were taking a nap, I began smelling the most horrendous odor. It reminded me of a backup sewer line. As I began walking the short hall to Lisa and Andrew's bedroom, my nostrils greeting a stronger stench. I witnessed a mural of different drawings near Andrew's crib. Three walls were smeared with Andrew's body excrement.
