We dropped Directv this past April after almost 10 years at the urging of our Daughter in Law. Good prices and a DVR at Dish Network sounded like a great idea.
Two DVR's and so many problems with signal or lack there of in almost 6 months has really changed my mind. The real kicker...Dish network, per and email, cancelled our account. When I asked who sent this cancellation email, I was told they could not trace it. WHAT!? When I asked, so how do you know it was from me? A quiet voice answered "I'm not sure".
So, I asked, OK yelled, give me to your supervisor I was told "the supervisor can do nothing more then I can".
Long story short, our service has been restored but most likely we will not get the rest of our "entry price reduction" because we cancelled our account only to reopen it a few days later. RIGHT!
In addition to signal and equipment problems, someone changed the phone number for our account. Again, when I asked who...I do not know came quietly back to me through the speaker.
Our son and daughter in law has had Dish for 7 months with absolutely no issues. So they don't understand why WE are having such a difficult time.
Believe me, I don't get it either. All I know is, it is going to be along 18 more months before we are out of contract and tell them once and for all to shove their product where the sun don't shine!
