Bill Moyers Journal is ending its run this Friday April 30th, with it goes one of the best, most insightful, educational shows television has ever seen.  In an era dominated by reality shows, and punditry, Bill Moyers Journal represents the best of what television can do for society. 

Every single time I watch an episode of Bill Moyers, I feel smarter. I feel well informed.   I want to tell everyone around me what I have just seen, and how it changed my viewpoint, because I think it will change their as well.  I wish it was a requirement for everyone in America (and especially everyone in Washington) to watch Bill Moyers Journal every week.  There is no other show on television that affects me in this manner.  I cannot imagine calling a friend on the phone to discuss any show ever on FOX NEWS, CNN, or MSNBC, but I frequently do so with Bill Moyers Journal. 

Thank you so much Bill Moyers.  You have changed my life.  You will be missed.  Enjoy your retirement!
