Maybe, the long time idea is to make Gaza into a ‘reservation’ like what the Cherokee and Apache people have been subjected to.

Whatever faults Hamas might have, the killing of a civillian population and destruction of a infrastructure would vever have been tolerated by the world had it been Arabs doing it to the Israelis! The cavalry would have rode in! Trumpets blowing. General Custer would have woken up from his grave ! The United States would have again been the ONLY nation to use the Nuclear Bomb in anger and later on on justify it as a means of "achieving greater peace".

The clergy of the time believed/claimed Jesus to be misguided and a fool when he challenged the staus quo and claimed to speak in the name of God hence your argeument is incorrect. The fact that he was outspoken and resolute eventually led to him falling foul of the Clergy and later the Romans.
I love and will always love Jesus and await his return when the earth will be filled with Peace and Happiness! It might not be in our age, but when he decends from heaven to Jerusalem, it will be a great time indeed. To those who do not share this belief, I respect you non the less.

Racism generally devolves into Classism. The opportunity to blend these cultures was lost in the Jews' neoptism which excluded the Palestinians from economic prosperity. Classism is why the Israelis are seen as more "like us". Until this is addressed, the Palestinians will remain a luckless, landless minority who require oppression to "stay in their place". If a ceasefire would include addressing the needs of the people, it might have a chance of success which is why opening the borders is so vital. It is definitely not all religious differences.
Russia's traditional religion is Russian Orthodox. Judiasm, Islam, Buddhism and other religions are practiced by minorities. The Government tends to view Russian Orthodoxy, Judaism and moderate Islam as traditional and acceptable religions, with Orthodoxy way out in first place.

Once I got past the somewhat simplistic/declarative statements you made, I have to agree with you that you have a point, and a very legitimate one. By definition racism holds the idea that one group of peoples are somehow superior to another group due to some racial or ethnic traits or characteristics. There are some deep rooted psychological principles at work here also: e.g., a sense of entitlement, aneed for conflict, a need to be right rather than have peace,etc. And yes, amy of us have been "duped" into fighting wars with economic motives - it's not limited to race. I was born and I'm nowadays mainly living in a country, which is by its culture, language and by its people's birth place maybe the most homogeneous country in Europe. In this country Finland, the local homogeneous culture is highly valued. Some time ago the politicians even decided that people living in the present Russia near the border to Finland have got a birth right to get Finnish citizenship, if they can proof that at least one of their grand parents spoke Finnish language! One well-known parliament member then pointed out (correctly in my opinion) that such a way to define the citizenship is quite sheer 'racism' and as well 'tribalism'.
In Finland most of its people are proud of their mother language, which is quite special in Europe, very old fashioned and complex. During the time of independence movements he culture of Finland became strongly associated with the big heritage of ancient folk poetry in Finnish language. So being a Finn is easily associated with Finnish language.
In Israel many people seem to be thinking that the culture is strongly associated with the religion. As well it seems to be an important thing if your parents were somehow associated with a certain ethnic group with a certain religion.
The modern country called 'Israel' was created by immigrant Jews, who moved to live in the area traditionally called 'Palestine'. Many original 'Zionists' claimed that the area there belonged to Jews, because their ancestors were living there in ancient times. At the same time (questionable) traditions of Jews, especially Bible are telling the stories that originally Jews came to that area in ancient times by conquering the area from the more original inhabitants there!
It is no wonder most of this sounds very strange and hard to understand to many Americans for obvious reasons. The United States of America was created by immigrants of very diverse origins. In North America new immigrants had hard fights against original inhabitants, who are now living there as small minorities. Many Americans are proud of diverse cultures of America, quite opposite to the idea of a homogeneous culture.
In my opinion is not so good to base political parties on ethnic ideas, so that there would be a specific party of Jews, Arabs and so on. That kind of idea is maybe not so racist and can be tolerated if there is no discrimination against other ethnic groups.
I think that classifying people according to their ethnic origin for example, is not itself racist, but if there are discriminations against people with different ethnic origins, that is racism.
So for example if in Israel parties specifically for Jews are tolerated but parties specifically for Arabs are banned for the sole reason that they are Arabs' parties, that will lead easily into racism. (Of course it should be checked if the party rules are done according to accepted laws.)
