Bio
Some may claim I'm in the throes of a midlife crisis. If so, I intend to make the best of it. Plus, being in middle life means I'm heading for a life span somewhere in the range of a century and a half. Cool beans. Meanwhile, the muse whispers, teases, convinces me that I may actually have something to say. Do I? You decide. ************************************* As promised in a recent posting, I have finally modified my avatar. This one was cropped and GIMPed (freeware program similar to Photoshop) from a photo I included in a blog in 2011. ******************************************* As noted in my post of 26 September 2012, I will be expanding my online homes beyond OS. I'll still be here from time to time, but you can follow the links in that post to find me wherever I go. ******************************************* If you wish to share any material on this blog, please secure my permission beforehand. This is a short note to all my friends on OS.

As you've seen from my last few posts, I've been facing some family issues.

As of yesterday (3/11,) the doctors have concluded they've reached the limit of what they can do.  From here, it's a matter of making my sister comfortable for whatever time she has left.

To that, add some personal matters I need to attend to.  Further, my internet access is limited to library hours and when I can get time on the computers.  Result - I will probably be in the background for the next few weeks, until everything calms down again.  I'll check in if and when I can, but make no promises how frequent that'll be.

If you wish to PM me, feel free, with the understanding it may take some time to reply.  But I WILL reply.

I hope you accept my request to be part of my support system going forward.  Once the full force of the situation hits, I may need it.

I'll talk to you again when I can.

Thank you, Susie. I will be back at some point. For now, it's more a case of sitting on the sidelines until the dust settles.
We are here for you and that is a promise.
HUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
Thank you, Linda. Hugs always appreciated.
