Yesterday, I quickly browsed the book. Wendell Berry has been farming and writing with purity of food in mind long before organic produce was available.

Supermarkets bought the foodie victuals from CEOs oil-based-fertilizer industries,

pest insect sprayers,

and please know this:`

What kills the delicate

natural balance of a ecosystem

will eventually kill you, me, and politico's,

and all the rest of humanity? Yes. Ay, eventually. 

Sane beast no poop in the home nest. No Never!

Anyone who is a human eater realize that? I' say:`I don't advise hungry people to begin today eating other humans. Will there always be a wholesome food supply? You wonder? Look at the war-torn areas.

I need to say something about a 1948 steel-rolled-fender Farm Studebaker soon!  But, it's hurricane season. Post-Storms there may be barley straw piercing the church steeple, Barack Obama needs to begin bench pressing steel dumbbells to get big midriffs, biceps, and strong nose olfactory taste buds. B.O. needs a heath trained 16th century Energy Vim and Vigor Tonic. Congress crooks need to be ordered to take a government certified test:`

In todays school history books, the whole-foods-nutrition interest of bored childhood of the human species of bad grammar, foul school  body politic students 'ode' ask:`

The fellow farmers took one look at me. Gaged. I asked:`Will you help me 'cut and paste' a photo of the 1948 Studebaker? They ask me if I am feeling sick?

People should get string and a kite? Fly a toupee in the storm. What's that dumb comment supposed to mean? Farmers think my silver toupee will blow away and land in a Sassy Fret?

Wendell Berry's rage never squints. He is always logical and patient. Plum. Square. Scrupulous. Cleanser. Crud cleaner. Fresh though. A Health Tonic to administer.

Culture/Watch. 'Sojourners Magazine' has a piece by a contributor writer, Danny Duncan Column. He teaches writing at the  Kentucky State University. I bought the new Berry book yesterday.I stumbled upon the Sojourners magazine too at Borders Book Store. 'Bringing It To The Table'...

- Studebaker? 

A Studebaker use to be called a tin Lizzie. Somewhere? Maybe @ Chris Floyd's sister site:`Atlantic Free Press? There is a photo of a 1948 Studebaker. I bought the truck from a neighbor for $700 dollars. The Studebaker deserves respect. I never called her a steel and tin Lizzie. It has black mud flaps, two rear wheel axles, and chestnut oak-side-racks that are painted bright red.

Studebaker won't wear out. A corrugated steel body will not rust? In pouring down rainstorms the winshield wipers screech to  a halt! But,no go too fast! If you put the peddle to the metal the seat cushions may as well be made of rough pine tree bark. A paved road is as bumpy as a dirt road with wagon wheel pot ruts. Ruts come from ox-wagon and the back to the barn barn trails. You know? Moo-cow-paths. It bumps. Cows flop pretty pies.

The Studebaker, I was told, hauled bushels of apples to Baltimore's inner city Lexington Market. It never hauled piglets, sows, or served as an illegal taxi-hack for politicians.

The Studebaker is not a plush Pontiac. It has:` a starter. it does not need to be cranked like a Model T- Ford. Amish tell me the chocolate milk comes if a politician pumps the milk cows rear end tale. They sip chocolate milk.

The Studebaker stutters, bounces, backfires, grinds gears, coughs, puffs grey-white smoke, roars, spits, guzzles gasoline, goes in reverse with noisy breaks, bald rubber tires, wood-oil-dipstick, steaming radiator, and a rattling and wiggling steering wheel. It has a glorious honking Klaxton Fog sounding Horn.

Gas is no longer 12- cents per gallon.

Studebakers hauled ewes, border cheviot sheep, chickens, various livestock, children in piles of hay, newborn goats. caves, mules, lambs, a dead horned-male-buck who robbed corn ears, rabbits, squirrel, geese, ducks, Potomac River catfish, tress for lumber, firewood, and sharp-edged-scythe's just  cut green fresh hay for later barnyard fodder. And, barn silo packing for winter storage feed.

Focus. Bringing It To The Table.

What times! As case in point, let us consider the economics  of an "unsafe" industrial chicken cage-pen .... raiser (farmer? huh) of chicken eggs. A chicken cage operation for the runny pale eggs ... sadly, are delivered for packaging. The eggs roll-off a conveyor belt ...

A chicken packer may need to borrow and invest $750,000 to raise 1.2 million camp'bull's  chickens a year. His borrowed $750,000 brings him an annual income of $2o,000. Then, go feed his own family, buy bread,fuels, shoes, and buy yellow panties.

War Budget contractors?

This can go on and on and on? 

You wonder why rural offspring sell?

Chemical spreaders are not caretakers!

Who gets the farm agrbusiness subsidies loot?

Ask Capital Hill? Absent landowners buy new SUV?

Subsidies buy Walt Disney La La Land annual Vegan vacations?

No diversity. no landcare, safe water, food, air, no safe to eats!

I best try to make amends with my son who needed my pick hoe!
