Check out the guy in the photo.  He could change the political game if enough of us will get involved.  The revolt against the lesser of two evils two party system that dominates our country could begin in Arkansas with this man.  More about him later, but first, how much does it suck that Blanche Lincoln won her primary last night?

I'll answer for you.

It sucks majorly.

Incumbent corporatist Blanche Lincoln squeaked by Lt Governor Halter last night.  My kingdom for a few thousand Arkansas votes. 

Why am I so down on Lincoln?  If you recall, she joined the Republican threat to filibuster the public option effectively killing it last winter.  She is a DINO (Democrat In Name Only), owned body and soul by Walmart and is virulently anti-union, your typical corporate whore.  Yes, she is marginally better than a Republican holding her senate seat, but she is most definitely the lesser of two evils.

In the wake of Halter's loss last night, the M$M is busy bashing labor and liberals for daring to challenge the will of the White House, Bill Clinton, and sacred incumbency by backing Halter.  Evidently some anonymous White House idiot said all the millions liberals and labour donated to Halter were "pissed away."  Well, I cry bullshit.  Halter came within three percent of taking out the Senator who killed the public option and he did it with a campaign that was only a hundred days long and mostly financed by small individual donors.

What the media is not saying is that Halter managed this feat with 3.6 million netroots dollars.  The 10 million from labor was separate from his campaign and not under his control.  If the netroot liberals can fund such a challenge in a mere 3 months, think of what we can do with 5.

Five months is the time left before the election in Arkansas.  As far as the mainstream media is concerned, there are only two choices - Lincoln and Boozman.  But they are wrong - as usual.  

There is another choice.  One the media will deliberately exclude from coverage so the public is not aware they don't have to hold their nose and vote for the lesser of two evils, yet again.

End Resource Wars: The "Golden Rule" says we should treat other countries as we would have them treat us. The practise of destabilizing foreign governments for corporate interests should be relegated to the history books,  not ongoing policy.

In 2008, Arkansas Green US Senate candidate Rebekah Kennedy earned over 20% of the vote in a two-way race against incumbent Democrat Mark Pryor.

Don't buy the bullshit anymore.
