and podunk, the daily vagaries of OS software are our own Borgesian labyrinth -- from day to day we never know which way to go or what will work when we log on. Thanks for "finding your way" here today.
His body, to keep it brief, was in whorehouse & tavern, but, the soul of Shakespeare could be anyone:Caesar, Macbeth, romeo and/or Juliet, etc, protean indeed.
I take old Harold to task. To be protean =to be nihilist? No.
Take bob Dylan.
Our current Shakespeare in the alley talkin to some French girl (‘lost inside of memphis’)
He lately sang.
“romeo said to Juliet yr complexion is flawed. Juliet said shove off …”
Paraphrase, obviously.
I suspect I too could write a “history of eternity” in 15 pages.

Abhor historicism indeed, our b did.
Especially Foucault, that sneaky French infiltrator, the reason, I hold, for sept 11…

Maybe in a borgesian little story.
Ha.
Borges, lucky fella, had his Mom as secretary. She keeled over at 99.
A brief history of eternity shall never be written again because it is too easy to do.
A long one would take an advance.
From a publisher.
Who can say how borges would fare in the labyrinth of os?
A good story, tho. Write it?

and we learn what to deplore. Jorge Luis Borges was like Pop Eye, and he ate greens.
He's not a easy read.
He's to be reread slow.
Ponderous. Assimilate.
Human's can chew cud.
`
The dramatist still abound.
There is the fraud and hoax.
The trumpery blow sax lips.
They snub those who teach.
`
There is wonder in abyss Flames.
There was a dramatist Mr. Sheridan.
Richard Brinsley Sheridan sipped ale?
I believe he drank Adam's Wine? H2O.
'Adam Wine' is Plain Pure Bubble H2O.
In past days folk would attend a theatre.
Mr. Sheridan? One eve he saw a orange sky.
In the distance the renown theatre was ablaze.
The Drury Lane Theatre was struck by Lighting.
Everyone rushed to try and our water on a Fire.
(Agni - Fire purifies) - It's the Vedic God notion.
R.B. Sheridan sat at the Piazza Coffee House.
His colleagues abandoned him as he just sips.
He sat alone. He sip wine and wonder of Life.
`
People later asked him why he had a cool reaction?
He sat and gazed in awe at the disaster. He replied:
"A man may surely taste a glass of wine by his fireside."
He later admitted that he lost his tranquility later when:
He pondered that his late wife's harpsichord was just ash.
She had died earlier, and in the theatre was her harpsichord.
P.S.
I request that whoever hacks stop. It makes me curse whoever.
I believe in cussing. I have witnessed Shame in nastier people.
I swear.
Behave.
Shame?
Integrity.
We choose.
Nature will
Not Be
Mocked.
Thank You.
Holy Cow.

to Wendell Berry's Friend who plays a guitar, and if he sips Rev Elijah Craig's
Kentucky brew
bourbon too?
No farm`gin.
Drunk is sop.
W.B.'s not
nor is his
neighbor.
foci - shame?
Seriously, it's not a pleasant facial expression. We sow/reaps.
The creeps who sell out will have zilch defense when Pan comes.
Pan's Nature/God's eventual visitation. My gadget is % 98.9 ill. Maybe the creeps?
Sip Adam's Wines?
Plain bubbly water?
Oh, and a mild beer?
going hither and thither like the lilies on his farm,
which are preached a certain new testament passage we all know
constantly by art.
nature will be mocked, by anyone, but She is trying to
evolve out of this damn backalley of primates
a really good mocker, cuz she is one damn big fat Gaia
with overeating issues. she eats anything!
carbon, nitrogen, the heavy metals,
whoops uranium
ach , silicon1
she needs an advisor in chief,
like descartes to the swedish queen he froze his balls off for,ha.
so now it is sheridan, eh, art? shumacher wasnt enough,
mr miniscule is mighty...?
we need a 'school of scandal satirist"?
a mocker of the restoration and all the good stuff it brought,
like...ah,well, i hear ts eliot liked that period, the malignant frog...
"THEY, by a strange Frenzy driven, fight for Power, for Plunder, and extended Rule—WE, for our Country, our Altars, and our Homes.—THEY follow an ADVENTURER, whom they fear—and obey a Power which they hate—WE serve a Monarch whom we love—a God"
sayeth sheridan.
take to heart.
we need serious shit, not damn satire now.
James, I would definitely read your eternity-in-fifteen-pages. It can be done, and must. The written word is a trickster that chases it's own tale (haha) ...JLB, like many great writers, finds the best stories under the beds of whorehouses and the tables at taverns (and dylan in the coughing pipes next door to them) -- to hell with the dead languages, let's have a bit of romance!
Art, who was it that once said the art of reading is in the re-reading? Vladimir the butterfly impaler? I can't recall but it's a truism. Words wisely writ are worth a re-visit, like Burma Shave signs along the road as one grows older. We know how all the stories end now that we're older, but it's in the telling where the Art is. And the James, of course -- both of them! Thanks for coming by on the OS outlier -- and to answer JME, I hope JLB would enjoy the meeting of the minds here at OS, if not the technology ...
