I truly feel sad about her death. Perhaps I'm projecting my own Mom in this sad news, as well as my own eventual death. Nevertheless, I am sorry for your loss. It's never easy no matter what.

Oh dear, I am so sorry your mom has passed. It is so hard to lose a parent. The photo of her shows a lovely young woman. My deepest sympathy.

One day you will be just like me. You'll be just going on with your life and suddenly you'll see something, or you'll smell something, or you'll read something, and all at once, 15 years later, your loss will come over you. At some point you will welcome it. I know I just did. This comment will make sense then.

I just read your previous piece. I'm so sorry for your loss, Amy. You've been so forthright this past year or two, about your mom's struggle, and I felt like I knew her (and your father and you). As difficult as it has been to watch her go mentally, I know it will be even harder to say a final goodbye. My thoughts are with you.

I'm so sorry! I'm glad that you and your family had time to prepare for your mother's passing, but I know it must still be hard. In Heaven, I'm sure she looks just like she does in this photo, radiant, young, happy, and healthy.
