not dead yet

Rate: 2 Flag

Since my last installment, I've continued working on the landscape overhaul, been taking a class, trying to get out on my bike a bit, and generally just plugging along.  This summer's New Orleans-like weather has been making me a bit loopy.  Just coming up for air now that we've got a non-steamy day for a change.

I would have liked to post some garden update pictures, but my computer seized up last week, so it's now in the shop.  I've had a loaner computer from a friend for a few days.  Good news - it just needed a tune-up, so it's not dead yet.   There's no good Mac service in my part of town, but at least I can get it in the area.  Now I need to make the long schlep to reclaim it from the shop.

More pictures soon - I promise.

I haven't been doing much of anything, it's been so bloody hot for so long. Looking forward to the pics of the garden.
On too many days, I've felt like my brain was melting. The goofy saying "it's not the heat, it's the stupidity" has applied to me on those days.
For all the extreme weather we've had this year, I'm surprised we haven't broken 100 degrees. And, yes, now that I've mentioned it ....
Take that back!! The last thing I want is a 100+ day. I suspect I'm not the only person who would say that.
Sounds like we've both been out-of-sorts for one reason or another this summer. I hate broken computers - just hate them! BTW. We broke our 50 day streak of over 100 degrees today. Yay.
50 day streak of 100+? Yikes! I don't envy you on that one.

I'm grateful to have my computer back. Been busy with other stuff the last couple of days. Now I've got some catching up to do.
