Let me continue on in the same vein as that last post, because I'm really feeling the hatred flow right now. Let's take Global Warming, shall we? I used to believe that man was destroying the planet. I mean, I still do, what with the plastic pollution and mercury and toxins and dioxins and neurotoxins humanity continually dumps into the rapidly (and incontrovertibly (I scuba dive. Do you know what an acre of dead coral looks like?)) dying oceans. But I thought the temperature would rise, the climate would get angry, and we would all die in a hail of molten lead. I had faith in Dr. Charles D. Keeling. He predicted that 1991 would be a cold year, but not because of what he aptly called "Climate Change"; instead Keeling blamed the CO2 from a volcanic eruption the previous year. Bam. No one could say shit to this guy. Then he had to die. So we're left with the actor from Predator 2 telling us that a secret government Weather Modification laboratory in the Arctic Circle caused the Haitian earthquake. That one was so insane I had to look it up. Turns out we really do have a lab in the Arctic Circle called HAARP, experimenting with, of all things, Weather Modification and ionic magnification. HAARP stands for High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program. It's a 33 acre High Frequency Radar Antenna, with a number of other experimental systems. The whole complex consumes the amount of energy of a small city. One piece of equipment is called the Floating Core Fluxgate Inclinometer Compass. While I have no idea what the Fluxgate does, I managed to find a picture of it on Wiki.
For the benefit of those who have not seen the Back to the Future trilogy, that is a goddam Flux Capacitor. Everything came together in a flash. The need for a police state by 2012, the expected reversal of planetary magnetic spheres, increased volcanic and fault line activity related to the slowing of Earth's iron core, Bill Gates and his secret seed-bank fortress off the coast of Norway; It's all true. The Ionosphere is going to fail. Invest in sunscreen options and umbrella stocks now. Maybe the increasing eccentricity of Boston's weather over the last five years can be explained by HAARP trying to figure out how to maintain an artificial shield around Earth to block the sun's radiation. You gotta wonder, what did conspiracy theorists do before Wikipedia? Cocktail parties?
