- Bio
- I am transgender, transsexual, neutrois, demimultiromantic, asexual, white, and not sure where I fall in terms of temporarily able bodied/minded. Probaby closer to the "temporarily able" side of things. I'm opposed to the kyriarchy and privilege/oppression in all its forms.
My pronouns are thon/thon/thons/thonself. If that doesn't make sense to you, use it like in this sentence:
Thon is going to the store like we asked thon to, to get new shoes for thonself because thons old ones are falling apart.
they/them/their/themself is also acceptable. All else isn't.

Doing a Workshop at a Trans Conference
I realize this blog has been dead for awhile, but this seems like a decent place to put this. There’s a Transgender conference in my state and I submitted to do a workshop based on my Trans 101 For Trans People and it got accepted. I’m not certain how long my… Read full post »
I’ve seen some people from European Pagan religions talk about how much more spiritual trans people naturally are
(while hissing cissexist bullshit when a trans woman wants to join a “woman only†pagan event)
I haven’t seen it too much, but when I do it makes me uncomfortable. One time I’ve seen this was describing trans people as some “sacred third genderâ€. Now, I am not talking about indigenous… Read full post »
On Feminist Men
Part of the problem with men being part of feminism is that ‘community’ isn’t like it traditionally was used. In most things called ‘communities’, most people know everyone else or it’s run by people who try to be familiar with everyone. Even these days, in small towns, some people will h… Read full post »
Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Highly Sensitive People are mutually exclusive- a critique of an article, Part 2 of 3.
Trigger warning for ableism, specifically against people on the autism spectrum.
The article this is critquing can be found here.
On the other hand, some adults decide they are highly sensitive when they actually do have an ASD. They want to find a normal explanation for something

Trigger warning for ableism, specifically against people on the autism spectrum.
The article this is critquing can be found here.
Our next part starts with an exciting situation in which a person without Asperger’s applies motives and thought processes to a near stranger based on hi… Read full post »
Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Highly Sensitive People are mutually exclusive- a critique of an article, Part 1 of 3.
First: A trigger warning for ableism, specifically against people who have autism spectrum disorders*
Okay, let’s start this out with an explanation- this article is from a site about ‘HSP’ or “Highly Sensitive Peopleâ€. So if you’re confused by hte use of a very wide-ranging word like “… Read full post »
Swimsuit Season
There are a lot of people for whom swimsuit season sucks. Trans people are, more often than not, part of those people. Just for different reasons. Swimsuits, public showers, and swimming pools are a special brand of complicated for trans people.
For binary gender trans people- there are loads of conc… Read full post »
Gender Neutral
Gender Neutral is a complicated term and, at times, problematically used. Sometimes it’s used to mean “generic”, such as when talking about a non-specified person (“One/he/they who…” type phrases, “When finished, one/he/they needs…” instruction… Read full post »
Communication styles collide
Yesterday, I was sitting at a table with my friend, a person I’m pissed off at, and some random white girl going on about how awful it is for white people because they’re afraid of terrorists. Not the safest place. At some point, the conversation got onto foreign students that express… Read full post »
This Saturday there is a trans conference. The cis supremacist asswipe is going, this is in no way a surprise but is pretty damn busted.
I won’t be in the same car as him going there.
I may have to eat breakfast with him, I’ll sit at another table with my… Read full post »
A dream of sorts
Right now I’m taking a figure drawing class. Basically, we draw nude models. It should come as no surprise that some of the explanations of the figure are cissexist. But every day in that class I get thinking:
I really want to have a trans figure drawing class.
Trans people predominantly… Read full post »
Trigger Warning: Intersex “Treatment” Trauma and Sexual Abuse Trauma: Not So Different
Take the trigger warning seriously, this does describe
systematically made mandatory sexual abuse, it’s horrible and
if you don’t have the spoons or if you’re triggered by
this, proceed with extreme caution.

Full-Frontal Activism
In my own experiences, some doctor would feel co

Protected: Not a Bad Guy
I give up.
I give up on trying to learn East Asian Languages at this school. I cannot take a class with that teacher, I’m not nearly neurotypical enough to, so Japanese is out. And the Chinese teacher…
Over the break before the semester started, I emailed him about pronouns. As I do with… Read full post »
-phobia
I have never liked the -phobia language used mostly by the LGBTQIA community. And trans, asexual, and intersex people use it, too, so they’re included this time. But it’s getting to me a bit more than usual. There are two main reasons: It is ablist and it hurts the communities.

Trans Until Graduation
Alright, so the term “Lesbian[Gay/Bi] Until Graduation” exists. It seems a bit busted and biphobic, but I can see how it could be problematic.
Now, a lot of colleges are safe bubbles. You can “experiment” without serious risk of any problems compared to the “real world… Read full post »
Selling your soul to who, exactly?
I recently read Doktor Snake’s Voodoo spellbook (available in my school library, donated by someone who a building is named after, I find this awesome). I’d recommend it even for people who don’t care to practice Voodoo or hoodoo because it gives interesting information and was pret… Read full post »
No Options
I have serious problems with social dysphoria. I would really like help with this, but there don’t seem to be any real options. The school counselor probably doesn’t really know enough to offer any really helpful suggestions. Most gender therapists, based both on my experiences and hearin… Read full post »
On Needing Allies
Recently someone argued, once again, that we need allies because some privileged people will only listen to other privileged people, so it doesn’t matter if marginalized people don’t want this to happen. Now, this is true, some privileged people reject what marginalized people say about t… Read full post »
Entertainment
One of the most annoying things, for me, of not having privileges is how hard it is to find entertainment that isn’t triggering. It’s next to impossible. I read a lot of webcomics, and a ton of them throw in random transphobia for the hell of it. Something Positive makes “trannyR… Read full post »
I cannot grasp this
I have a friend. This friend has a white american father and a Japanese mother. He was raised in Japan but spent summers in America. In Japan, he’s perceived as white and faced really horrific racism. Pretty much what you expect to get as the only person of [race] in a… Read full post »
A rant about a teacher
My partner is majoring in Japanese. My partner’s Japanese teacher is the head of the department and also one of only two people (one of whom is away and will be for most of our time in college) who can be my partner’s academic advisor. She has a lot of power… Read full post »
so sick of this

I am so fucking sick of privilege. Just so sick of it. I was sick of it at the start of this semester and it just keeps getting worse and worse and worse and worse and worse. I’m in a class… Read full post »
Even accurate representations can be discriminatory
One thing that people may have a hard time grasping is that you can give an actual portrayal of something while being offensive. This is in part because what a person chooses to portray says a lot. And the rarer something is portrayed, the more true this is. On the show… Read full post »
