Leaving the arena,
tossing in the game
never to be part of the whole again;
silence comes to taunt,
no plays are called,
pigskin no more
and the fan fair slowly fades;
sedentary days
with the goal line gone;
what to do?

thanks toritto...yes on Seau but it must be rough on all retired players.

Favre showed us that in a psychological lesson of letting go. Then the real adventure of redefining ones self and finding out who we really are in a new arena.
