Coming Home

No guide to my upcoming journey
besides, that I’ll travel due north
visit the land I comfortably knew
bond with some souls who remember my name
might be that I’ll never be here again
where I was born and grew
where I grew wings and I flew
always adventuring
traveler’s song I sing
as I pass through and through;
until I cannot do.

Going home, finding the people we knew back then...one of my favorite things to do. Wonderful poem. R
Simply beautiful; these journeys of the body, mind and soul are needed now and than.

Leaving mid July but planning already. :)
I can imagine the growing fullness of heart in anticipating the journey home to the place where you grew wings.
