Uncomfortable Guest

Adversity becomes me
but when it knocks today
I am a proper host
as we figure out some way
to enjoy each other’s company
while I try to understand
why adversity
has a hold on me
and remains until I see
where the problem lies
hence the cloudy skies
dissipate eventually.
