If a joke falls flat does anyone hear it? The following cartoons didn't sell anywhere but are personal all-time favorites of mine. By all-time favorites, I mean they were the clinkers from my usual batch of cartoons this week.

Welcome to Part IV of my eighteen part series, Best Advice For Writing Your Novel, which I’ll admit may or may not have begun with John Blumenthal's post and Caroline Hagood's but the ideas were flying so fast and furious it was hard to keep track. That said,… Read full post »

Comment I left on Kerry's blog;
I love football and haven't missed a Giant game
since '32 but I haven't seen a Super Bowl in years (except those
with the NY Giants).
Every year I leave a Super Bowl party early and drive through… Read full post »

So the theme for this group of cartoons is extermities. This weekend is opening week in the NFL (tomorrow is the first game) but of course I have a wedding & a bris the same weekend as the Giant opener and the US Open finals. I need three… Read full post »

In light of my ill-timed cartoon yesterday on writers shooting themselves and some of the mud-slingin, name-calling posts (crap headlines like; "Why Do ---holes Join OS?" Gee, why don't you tell us, buddy? If I hear another dirtbag making fun of another OS writer I swear I'm… Read full post »
