Most people don’t know you Larry.

If asked, most people will say, I know Lady Gaga , but Larry Gaga?   Never heard of him.

Well, for those of you who are not familiar with the exclusive and impenetrable world of fine art, Larry Gaga is a pseudonym for art dealer extraordinaire Larry Gagosian.

In New York and London, the wheelhouses of the fine art trade, Larry is the guy.  Hands down.

Why do I want him to call me?  And why should he call me?

You see, I recently have become the steward of the lifelong art work of my late grandmother.   She was a trained artist who painted from the early 1920’s through the 1990’s.   While she embraced the many styles of her time, her vision and her work remained uniquely her own.  She traveled the world time and again, painting everywhere she went putting her touch on all kinds of subject matter.

I just want  a fair chance to get her noticed.

After several attempts to get her work exhibited in the great city of New York, I have been gently and not so gently told that if Larry Gaga notices her work, the world is our  oyster.

So Larry Gaga, please contact me.  Take a leap of faith, and let me introduce you to the magnificent work of this little woman born in Wheeling, West Virginia.

I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

Call me, Larry Gaga…..

This is just fascinating, Brie! The art is beautiful! Did you talk to the Professor Emeritus Peter Bagnolo? He is on OS and he has shows in many well thought of galleries! Good Luck!

Thank you Junk1. Thank you for the lead. For the last six months, I've been researching the fine art world. It is an amazing world indeed. Unfortunately, it seems to be a closed fraternity for those of us outside NYC and London.

The fact is that finding representation is a daunting task for someone without financial resources. That is the position that I find myself in. I have a treasure trove of her work stored in my grandmother's home/studio in Niagara Falls, NY. It would be a sin if its not shared with the world.

Getting it noticed and shown is a monumental task. I thought that OS is fertile ground for artists and creatives, so I decided to throw it out there and hope for the best.

Thank you for your kind words and encouragement.
Wow. Great pieces.

Thanks Tink. Her collection has over 1000 pieces. Hopefully it will be seen someday.
I hope he calls! This work is just beautiful...and you might also talk to Cartouche. xox
I hope he goes ga ga over the work (sorry)
Oh my! Incredible artwork! Good luck on your quest to get her artwork noticed - it deserved to be!
