I dedicate the song, "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina" (from the musical, Evita) to Senator Sanford. He claims she's his soulmate-translation: she's fantastic in the sack. She's not the first gullible female to succumb to his political power and she won't be the last. In the immortal words of the late, great Andy Warhol, "Everyone's famous for fifteen minutes." Well, give this one hers and she will be just a blurb in history. Men who are in positions of power and generally legends in their own mind have the attention span of a gnat. To many power is the ultimate aphrodisiac. If Sanford was just your ordinary schmuck and not so well-known,elected official-pretty much guaranteed, this gal wouldn't spit his way-not even if he was on fire.
Politics does make strange bedfellows These guys put themselves on the same pedestial with rock stars and guys like Brad Pitt and George Clooney. Just remember the name Gary Condit from eight years ago. You see where his affair got him. The guy can't even get elected dog catcher in his hometown.
