So much for Republican family values! This jerkoff, Sanford professed his love for his Argentine lover and calling her his soulmate. The lastest (and best of all), he wants to fall in love again with his wife. My opinion this guy is just a fickle asshole who doesn't seem to know which way the wind blows. He'd fall in love with a good stiff wind coming his way and hitting the wrong head that men so often think with.
What's with the Conservatives/Republicans anyway? They seem to preach all this family value/pro-life/pro-marriage stuff but are the first ones to stray, bear children with a mistress or just being closeted-otherwise being caught in an airport bathroom with their trousers down. The most recent scandal from my neck of the woods is disgraced Congressman, Vito Fossella. After being arrested for drunk driving down in Virginia, he gets bailed out by his mistress/mother of his love child. Instead of having a staff member come to his rescue and this is where he screwed up-it opened up a can of worms and the set the media on a feeding frenzy.
He had the mistress believing he was divorced/separated and leading a double life. This was a married man with three children by his wife up in New York, all this while being the dutiful wife and totally clueless. He didn't think that these women wouldn't catch on to his highjinks eventually and find out about each other? Instead of divorce, which good Catholics do not believe in but cheating on your spouse and fathering children while you're still married to another is fine. Just so that you come home to your unsuspecting spouse and keep up appearances. So much for good ol' Republican family values.
