It's so intriguing, almost like rubbernecking to see a car accident on the highway or trainwreck. It's always fascinating to see the Republicans in a sex scandal or any kind of scandal for that fact.  It's entertaining to see them try to talk their way out of it somehow.  Recently, there is Sarah Palin ("Failin' Palin or "Sarah Barracuda") resigning from being Governor of Alaska.  There seems to be so many rumors surrounding why she resigned eighteen months into office.  This is a woman who held high hopes of being the next Vice-President of the United States (cough, cough).  I wonder if she could still see Russia from the (white)house.  Just a joke on her quote made some famous during the 2008 Election.  It's still laughable to think of some of the things that she said. 

Did she resign because she is planning on campaigning for President in 2012? God forbid, that's one scary thought!  She's not exactly the brightest bulb in the chandlier.  Then there was speculation of a scandal breaking in her office as Governor which is was bailing out before the shit hit the fan.  Who knows. Last week, she was on a fishing trip with her family, only to be giving an interview on the boat-complete with cameras and the works. So much for spending quality time with the family-(cough, cough-hack).  Yeah, right! 

Another story, yes-this one is true!  She has a $7 million dollar book deal.  So, this woman is not exactly hurting for money.  Whatever the reason is, however hokey it may seem-she should have never resigned from office. Especially if she had any future political aspirations.  It seems like she's enjoying the attention and publicity she's getting from leading the media around by their noses, perhaps she's getting the last laugh after all.
