The 8th anniversary of 9-11 stirs up feelings of sadness, as well as memories of where we were that day. There were memorial services, bowing our heads in silence at the times when the planes hit the Twin Towers are examples of ways people chose to remember that fateful day. This event has profoundly changed the lives of New Yorkers and Americans alike. It made us question our security and the safety of our nation.
