Our first Lebowskifest was a blast. I had a hard time trying to come up with a costume, and so I popped the movie in on Friday to try to find some last minute inspiration.

And I did.


I wasn't brave enough to wear Maude's outfit, but this awesome girl was! Here she is posing with her trophy as "Best Maude" with the Best Dude and Best Jesus.

I'm not much of a golfer, so I was happy to give up my turns as I wandered around asking people if they wanted to be in my beaver picture.


Bunny said she'd have to check with her agent before she could be in my beaver picture.


Liam not only agreed to be in my beaver picture... he turned around to show off to his friends! (This is where I regret not painting the other side of the bags...)


It was awesome. It was silly and surreal and at times, oddly reverent. If it lasts a hundred years, will it become a bona fide holiday?
