Feeding my soul...
You paint, too???? I had no idea!!! I love the summer day fishing. It elicits a Hockney feeling. xoxo
Is there anything you can't do?! Those are brilliant Sheila, you have a real talent.
Buffy... you surely are feeding our soul with your creativity. Food is nutrition for the body and art is nutrition for the soul!

Beautiful! As I scrolled down through each painting, I kept thinking, okay this one is my favorite...no, this one... wait, this one. I thought it was impossible to choose, until I reached the last one. Tidepool. It just speaks to me. Lovely.
You talented little vixen!!! You are full of surprises!
Wow! A whole gallery of "food inspired" art. I like your style. Colorful, minimalist. A feast for the eyes. I am most definitely impressed.
Just beautiful . . . each one more than the last.
Don't even tell me that you also choreograph in your spare time... (or should I look for you as a guest judge on So You Think You Can Dance?)

(Loved "the fish mongers"!)

:-)
I'm only going to say I hate you because I would love to another talent... or even one for that matter. Those are great.
Gorgeous!! You are so talented, and I love the way you chose colors, they all work really well together in each piece. My favorites are the tide pool and fishing. As Tabb said...is there anything you can't do??! Beautiful artwork, thank you so much for sharing.
Beautiful. I wishI could see them in actual size.
You are so gifted. I especially loved "Lobster neighborhood." It has such a peaceful quality to it.
Is there anything you CAN'T do? They are really good.
Right now, I'd love to take a walk down that road to your garden. Keep it going, great paintings!

You are so talented! You have a beautiful way of capturing light and color, which is not easy at all. I love the fish mongers and the way that one fish is looking at the viewer, as if to say "Why me?"
Rated!
Wow--you are very talented!
OS and all the talent here - you people are completely exhausting!

My three faves - Summer Day Fishing, Road to My Garden, Tidepool. I love paintings that make me imagine myself in them, and I can picture walking that hot clay road, and the sun on my back, and my feet in the water.
I must say, every one of your pieces seems different from the next...which I find amazing. All have their own distinctive sense of space and style. My personal favorite is the Fish Mongers. That's a classic.
BuffyW. Feed my soul! Beautiful. I followed:`
Beth Mann. (P.S. avatar? I may someday tho?

Beautiful paintings!! I loved them all. I didn't know you paint. Everyday we learn more and more about each other on here..
Sheila, I do believe you are blessed!
My laptop decided to present with major "issues" on Monday and I've been sharing my 15 year-old niece's PC...thus I'm behind on reading and commenting.
O.K, You've been holding out! These are so evocative of two of my favorite Impressionists, Cezanne & Gaugin.... Just plain lovely in use of color, shadow, texture, composition and occasional whimsey...my fave? "The Road to My Garden." When and where is your newly composed symphony going to be performed by a major orchestra? ;0)
