I wish I knew. I can only imagine the dreadful firsts you are facing. Take time to savor the wonderful moments. Try to find comfort there. I know that you feel alone, try to remember you are not. Your friends aren't a replacement for your loss, but they are something you still have.

I have no idea the pain you feel, but I dread experiencing it someday. You make it so real.

Your drawings are heart-breaking. I'm so sorry. More good thoughts and prayers for you...

Love the art, buffy. Everybody is different, what works for one don't work for others. I got a new bed. New Stuff. Couldn't take the constant reminder of a life that was gone. Just a thought..helped me. I'm very sorry for your pain.

ou'll shift around from side to side for awhile, m'dear. I recommend a large pillow and either staying where you've always been until you're ready for a position shift. My friend, a comic and fellow situational widow, is coming out next month with a book called "Middle of the Bed" which says it all...
