And a one...and a two...and a threeeee......
Great job, Shiela! Nice art; beautiful sentiment.
May the golden sound of his laughter and the memory of his smile stay with you for the rest of your life. Sheila you know I am a complete dufus when it comes to poetry...and most everything else...but THIS I understood completely and it touched me deeply.
Awwwwhhhhh Jeeeeeeezzzzz

So nice.

Love the noses!
Loved them all.
Longing increase the essence of the absence of presence.

It resonates so well, indeed.
I like that you are drawing and being creative right now to express yourself--a true artist!

xoxoxo,
Your haikus have a shine, a glow to them...amidst everything you're going through. There's always light somewhere inside.
Beth is right. "Light" is the word. You radiate it.
Sheila- Each of these felt like a warm hug...the last simply enfolded my heart...may Lance remain ever, as your loving jester, dream-intruder.

Very touching Sheila. You have an amazing gift for saying a lot with only a few words Love the artwork too. Ever thought of being a cartoonist? I think you've got some serious talent in that area.

I can see your nose hairs in your drawings.

Beautiful poems, Buffy, coming from a beautiful soul.
Buffy these are just great! You are your own best healer and have found such a creative outlet for your sense of loss. This is good stuff!
Wonderful and I love the drawings.
Write and draw your way
through this deep valley, stopping
to smell some flowers.
So sweet...I love your drawings...so personal and direct...xox
Great work on lyrics and cover art...
If only we could live in our dreamstate all day. I know how you feel. Love the artwork. Well done.
Art and poetry can be so therapeutic. Love remains. (((Sheila)))
You are a goddess. Thank you for sticking with us here. My take on life is fully informed by your grace.
You are such a clever girl!
And aren't dreams wonderful? They can dig into our psyches and find for us treasures and comfort.
Hugs and more hugs,
Sharon
I told you he'd come to you in dreams...

I hear his laughter still - how difficult it must be for you.

Love you but your nose ain't a bit like that.
The words are lovely but the drawings, they are so expressive. They remind me of a Schultz cartoon, one when one of the Peanuts gets so frustrated, so angry, so --- emotional, that the only option left is the silent scream. Your three here are sweet, but I suspect the big waaaaahhhh is soon to come.

Big hugs to you Sheila. The whole death thing is sad and awful but what no one warns you about is how long the technical aftermath lingers on, the mail addressed to him, the phone calls even. When my father passed away a year after, on the anniversary of his death no less, his cancer treatment center sent a rebate check for an overpayment, addressed to him, and the check was made out in his name. Nice.
I seldom read the haiku posts because I don't usually like them. I love these. The artwork is as moving as the words. The commbition is exquisite. I am in awe of your spirit Sheila.
Thank each of you for your encouragement, compliments and telling me it touched you on some way. We are connected afterall. Muahh!
It's good to know that you have writing and art to help you through all this pain. [[[[more hugs]]]]
