Looks like a facade from Hollywood.

An amusement park entrance.

I love the blues.
Chevy sponsors a street?

Love the street vendors.

I always wanted a castle.

A mosque?
No...the church La Luz Del Mundo built by an L.A. preacher.
A palette of colors I adore.
Only another stop away from home I found myself sad the trip was ending, but eager to see what progress was made in my absence.
One of the last nights the waiter snapped this picture of us...Whoa, did she say "US"? Yes. She. Did.
Introducing Paul...
Paul and I on Christmas...
The last formal night I took a quick shot of us.
The house? Well, it wasn't finished until two weeks ago, but with her new "skin", windows, walkway and roof I couldn't be happier...
Before...

and after!

It was an amazing trip to help bring the house back to her original look, improved by a few things, but keeping her essence. Like me, we both have been shedding the past and moving towards a future, prepared for whatever life throws our way. It's really the only way to move ahead.
My thanks to the readers for your patience...but I felt it necessary to chronicle the parallels of the house and what I have been experiencing over the past months. I think it explains why I have been sporadic in my posts. My hands and heart have been full. Smile.

It was good to see Paul again, even if it is only via photos and please pass along our love to him too. Mel and I have nothing but warm and wonderful memories of our time on your mountain-top.
You know how much I'll envy you the trip into Mexico, but also how pleased I am things are looking better as time moves on. Everything crossed. Love you.
