I left last Wednesday to fly to Jackson Hole, WY. I was going to meet Paul and visit one of his sons and not-so-coincidentally meet the two year old grandson. All went really well, including the on again, off again snow. (Ok there was a bit of drama with the baby mom, but hey, it is what it is.)
Fortunately his son works at a historically significant hotel, so I got the opportunity to draw it!

We left on Saturday morning to drive back, stopping for a few hours in Pocatello, ID to see his other son. It was the first time I got to meet him. The guys went fishing, I relaxed on the bank of the river and took photos and daydreamed.
Since I did manage to have a few moments which just seem to prove... “any idiot could take a good picture when you just hang your arm out of the window...” I thought I would share the best of the best.

We are not alone.

I stepped into it this time.

The need for speed seems lost here.

A chocolate moose.
This seems so whimsical to me.
Was it something I said?
The Snake River

We've only just begun.

This takes my breath away!

I just feel it.

But the view makes up for it.

Look closely and you'll see a man jogging with his dog!

It just keeps coming.

Yeah.

My favorite shot.
The End.

Glad you got to enjoy a well-deserved break and some 'new' family time. You can keep that snow however. Love you.
