After 710 Sunsets...

After all these sunsets I find:

 

1.  Life does go on without you. 

2.  It's harder to care for yourself than someone else. 

3.  Your mother forgot what day it was.

4.  It is possible to love and be loved.

5.  Love means always saying you're sorry...and meaning it.

6.  I still love music.

7.  I was right to get on with my life. 

8.  I still don't care for tv.

9.  I write less when I am happy.

and number  10...Some things really don't matter.

I find myself at a much earlier place on this time line.... today was sunset number 31. I can see that I have some reading to do of your posts.

I would agree with you! How are you doing? I'm not on OpenSalon as much as I used to be. I'm trying to read more now and can't seem to do both. So, I've stopped writing temporarily. I'm also doing more volunteer work at church. Something has to give.....

A very good list. Given the uber truth of number one, might I add that no matter where you are, even if up to the elbows in dishsoap washing the spaghetti pot, when you see the color of sunset out the window, stop. Stop and look. For you, and for all those you loved who can't anymore.

Such a good list. #9 is true for me too. I don't know which is better--to be in a constant state of angst but writing a lot or to have writer's block because of being happy!
