"Cant Get Used To Losing You".

Rate: 10 Flag

I just read a blog saying goodbye to Andy Williams.  ANDY WILLIAMS?? The first record I bought with my own money was Andy Williams, "Can't Get Used To Losing You".

This just breaks my heart.

Sheila, I wrote a blog this morning about Mr Williams. I found out I could never be an obituary writer as I could not read my words through my tears.
Christmas will never be the same without ""It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" .

Hugs to my sister friend.
I too was sad to read this news first thing this morning...
Mr. Williams, you were so elegant.
"Moon River" has been serenading me, in my mind, all morning.
What a voice.
I heard it earlier and what a thing to hear. Although Andy Williams will always be Andy Williams...in our hearts and minds. R
Ach. Another one gone, dammit. Loved his voice.
Andy Williams expressed sentiments so well with his voice. He was a person you just loved. It was like he was sharing what we all experienced. I heard him sing at a major awards show about 3 years ago. I was just blown away that he still sounded so perfect and powerful at his age. I already feel bad today. This news makes it all the worse.
"Moon River" and Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" that what I remember most.
Such a smooth voice. Plus Andy introduced the world to the Osmond Brothers.
Actually, it's Andy's unforgettable singing that'll make us remember and treasure his musical legacy.

We should all be so lucky to be remembered like that...
[r] thank you, Buffy! I loved this particular song especially. Playful and loving. I loved the album. One of my brothers made fun of me for being so old-fashioned and sentimental in grooving on Williams so much. What about the angry rock that was calling to my generation? Williams sang about sweet and haunting love. I think I will track down his cd! Been too long since I listened to Williams' rich crooning voice.

Thanks. best, libby
